Egypt Creativity Program for Mansoura University students

The Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation Center (TIEC) organized the training course entitled InnovEgypt within the activities of Egypt Innovation Program from 7 to 12 September at the VIP Visitors Hall at the Student Services Complex.

Under the patronage of Prof. Ashraf Abdel Baset, President of Mansoura University and his leadership Prof. Mohamed Attia Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Prof. Ashraf Hafez Vice President for Post Graduate Studies and Research under the supervision of Prof. Azza Ismail Othman Director of TICO Office and consultant of the President of Mansoura University for International Relations.

InnovEgypt aims to create an Egyptian base of qualified talent from potential creators and entrepreneurs by providing comprehensive training on creativity and technology management and entrepreneurship to students based on best practices and lessons learned. The main objectives of the program are four:

- To provide basic knowledge about the management of creativity and technology.
- Enable students to create creative ideas that address real challenges using systematic techniques.
- Learn how to protect creativity through intellectual property rights and related subjects such as copyrights, patents, trademarks and intellectual property exchange.
- Developing entrepreneurial skills by introducing the basic concepts of entrepreneurship and applying interactive learning to use the basic tools required to start new businesses and projects.

The number of students enrolled in the program reached 75 students from the faculties of engineering, commerce, computers and information.
